The ABBA group which started its humble beginnings in the United Arab Emirates in the 1990s under the vision of Mr. Vijayan Thomas who was the first-generation entrepreneur, had started ABBA International and under his vision grew to be become a multi divisional organisation in many fields specialising in power generation, oil fields, infrastructure such as roads and bridges, airport development and in ship repair industries.

With the oil boom in the Gulf in the 1990s, the company grew rapidly and opened branches in the UAE and Bahrain.
